CasaClima certification
Casa Clima is synonymous with construction that combines high energy savings with a healthy way of living.
With CasaClima we mean a house designed and built to achieve significant energy savings, compared to a traditional building. In addition to wellness, CasaClima also involves economic savings.
With a CasaClima:
- heating costs are lower;
- housing well-being increases;
- it contributes to the protection of the climate and the environment.
There are three categories of CasaClima:
CasaClima Oro, which has the lowest energy consumption (10 kWh per m² per year), is also called "passive house" or "liter house", needs one liter of fuel oil per m² of living space per year;
CasaClima A which has an energy consumption of less than 30 kWh per m² per year, is also called a "3-liter house" requires 3 liters of fuel oil per m² of the surface
CasaClima B which has an energy consumption of less than 50 kWh per m² per year, also called a "5-liter house", requires 5 liters of fuel oil per m² of living space per year.
Its basic elements are: high degree of thermal insulation and tightness of the external surface, absence of thermal bridges, use of solar energy, optimal plant engineering, accurate construction, highly insulating windows that welcome light but do not allow heat to escape.
CasaClima is energy efficiency, requires very low heat requirements and allows you to save on heating costs, improve living comfort and increase the value of the property.
CasaClima is comfort, good wall insulation also increases comfort. The insulation of the external walls can increase the temperatures of the surfaces and at the same time leads to a lowering of the ambient temperature.
There are numerous positive effects of all this, both on living comfort and on energy needs.
Good insulation of the perimeter of the building is also useful in summer because it prevents overheating.
The highest of the CasaClima categories is "CasaClimaplus", a mark issued to residential buildings that are characterized by high energy savings and an ecological construction technique that uses ecological materials and renewable sources.
A CasaClimaplus must meet the following criteria:
- the annual heat requirement must be less than 50 kWh per year per m²;
- renewable energy sources must be used for heating;
- the materials used must be environmentally friendly and not harmful to health;
- at least one of the following ecological measures must also be present: photovoltaic system, solar collectors for the production of hot water, recovery of rainwater or green roof.
